This year’s rainy season has been indeed rainy and for more than ten days it has been reining every day in Tokyo. I am not complaining as rainy days have their own charm but it is bothering me that the cut soaps take longer to dry no matter how dry you try to keep the room.
This morning I eventually cut the Wisteria soap and here are the couple of pics I took of it before wrapping it and sending it off to my customer who ordered almost the whole batch of it.
The embeds which I used run inside of the soap so even when the soap begins to get smaller the pattern will still be there.
As it is time to make a hanger swirl soap for June’s Soap Challenge, I have been looking for color combinations to use in my hanger swirl soap.
Yet, since we are moving to a new place tomorrow, I am not sure I will have an Internet access in time to upload the pictures of my soap.
But, hey, we are moving to a new place with a better view, a rooftop balcony and better wall-and-window insulation! Needless to say, I am very excited and cannot wait to turn my new balcony into a comfortable garden space!
Until the next post here, I wish you a lot of sunny days and fun watching (if you do watch it) the World Cup.
