It’s been more than half a year since the last post. During this time I became the mother of a beautiful baby girl, made friends with people whom otherwise I would not have met and continued to make soap.
First, I would like to express (though late) my thanks to Gordana for sending me her soaps and some od her grandpa’s bee’s wax. I loved the soaps and am still keeping the bee’s wax in a plate on the kitchen table as it smells so good that I can’t imagine using it in soap yet. I will, though. Winter is coming and it will help the soap stay clear of soda ash.
Thank you so much, Gordana!
My daughter was born in August and she has been with us for almost two months now 🙂 It is amazing to watch her growing bigger and becoming more communicative day by day. We have seen her first smile and now delight in seeing her smile in her sleep or when she wakes up and sees us around. She has made me realize that happiness is a place on Earth. It is funny though how many people expected her to look more like me and she chose to take after her daddy (except forthe cheeks – she definitele beats him there) 😉 Babies do have their own agendas, don’t they?
I have been making soap though the pace is somewhat slower than before.
Several of the soaps are indeed simple in terms of design but still containing skin-loving oils like avocado and camellia.
And a Japanese style (or is it only me who thinks so?) design which, however, I associate with baby clothing 😉
I wish you all a beautiful day!
